Carmen Reynaga supports UWCA’s policy advocacy, 2-1-1 network building and organizational development work. In addition, Carmen plays the lead role in UWCA’s use of the Web and social media tools. Prior to joining UWCA, Carmen was Conferences and Marketing Associate for Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE). In this capacity, she managed the Latina History Day Conference, Latina Action Day Conference and the HOPE.ACT.VOTE advocacy alerts. Carmen is has bachelor’s degrees in political science and sociology from University of California, Irvine. Carmen also currently serves as a board member for Girls on the Run Los Angeles, a youth development program that prepares girls for a lifetime of self respect and healthy living |
