United Way Western Regional Conference Keynote Speakers
United Ways of California and United Ways of the Pacific Northwest are glad to welcome the following keynote speakers at the 2022 United Way Western Regional Conference. Please stay tuned for more keynote speakers as they are announced in the coming months.
Robyn Davis
Robyn Y. Davis is the Founder and President of The Valiant Leader where she brings her passion and experience to preparing leaders for today’s challenges and opportunities. She currently holds the role as President and CEO of Brown County United Way. Robyn began serving in that role in May, 2017. Prior to joining Brown County United Way, she led Freedom House Ministries, Inc. in Green Bay as its President for 8 years. Robyn is currently a member of the Green Bay Packers Board of Directors, the Donald J. Schneider School of Business and Economics Board of Advisors, the Weidner Center Presents Board of Directors, and the Northeast Wisconsin Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a public service sorority. In 2019, Robyn received the Athena Leadership Award from the Greater Green Bay Chamber and the St. Norbert College Ambassador of Peace Award from the Norman Miller Center for Peace, Justice and Public Understanding.
Brandon Leake
Brandon Leake is an Award-Winning Spoken Word Poet, Artistic Educator, and Motivational Speaker from Stockton, CA. His creative mixture of art, charisma, and passion tailored to his own unique personal narrative has taken him across the world as a speaker and performer. Performing in locations such as New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, and 36 states around the country for his, “Dark Side Tour” which promotes his first-ever published poetry chapbook and his crown jewel “Deficients: A Tale From My Dark Side” an album rooted in transparency and healing.
Brandon is also the founder and CEO of Called To Move - CTM, an artistry organization with the pursuit of aiding youth in self-actualizing and personally developing through the art of poetry. This pursuit has led to Brandon leading workshops around the world with several curriculums he has developed himself, and in particular teaching youth in his hometown of Stockton, CA. Oh, and yes he is also the season 15 winner of America’s Got Talent.
Angela Williams
With more than 30 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit and corporate sectors, Angela Williams brings a long history of purpose-driven work including her previous role at Easterseals where she served as President and CEO. Prior to that, she was executive vice president, general counsel, and chief administration officer at YMCA of the USA.
Her other leadership roles in government include serving on Sen. Edward M. Kennedy’s Senate Judiciary Committee staff as special counsel on criminal law, a prosecutor on the DOJ Civil Rights Division’s National Church Arson Task Force, and an Assistant U.S. Attorney. A native of Anderson, South Carolina, Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in American government from the University of Virginia, a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law, and a master of divinity cum laude from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology, Virginia Union University.
