Silvia Fuentes is the Digital Outreach Manager at United Ways of California. In her role, she is responsible for managing the outreach and enrollment efforts on statewide and regional initiatives to connect low-income families to important resources, including affordable broadband Internet access in the home, free tax preparation and federal and state earned income tax credits, health coverage and more.
Silvia graduated from Art Center College of Design with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and a concentration in Graphic Design in 2006. As a communications professional, she has focused on working with nonprofit organizations throughout the nation to help them build comprehensive strategies around brand awareness and donor engagement. She has art directed digital and printed campaigns for organizations such as UNITE HERE, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA), Liberty Hill Foundation, UCLA, PADRES Contra El Cáncer, and the American Lung Association. She is also founding partner of Private Citizens Design, a graphic design studio dedicated to using design to build social consciousness around issues that are often times ignored and/or overlooked within our communities.
